Visit this heritage site with over a thousand years of history, located in the Horta Labyrinth Park, completely free of charge.
Following essential structural consolidation work, the Municipal Institute of Parks and Gardens is pleased to offer free guided tours of the Palace of the Marquis of Alfarràs, located within the Horta Labyrinth Park.
The Palace of the Marquis of Alfarràs, also known as Palau Desvalls, is a heritage site with a history spanning more than a thousand years. Its origins date back to the 11th century, when the building was merely a watchtower.
In 1968, the building and its gardens became municipal property. Since 1993, part of the palace has been used by the Horta Labyrinth Training Centre to run courses and workshops on gardening, agriculture, and biodiversity. Now, for the first time in its history, the palace opens its doors to the general public.
Parks and Gardens invites you to sign up for a guided tour to discover this impressive palace and reconnect with a recovered piece of the city's heritage.
BOOK YOUR VISIT
Schedule: Wednesdays and Sundays at 10:30 AM and 12:00 PM.
Please check the calendar on the website to confirm available dates.
Language: All visits are conducted in Catalan.
Guided tour duration: 1 hour
Maximum capacity: 25 people.
Price: Free of charge.
RESERVATIONS
To sign up for the free guided tours, select your preferred date and time.
Complete the registration form, and once your booking is confirmed, you will receive your tickets by email.
We kindly ask that you arrive ten minutes before the start of the tour. Once the visit has begun, entry will no longer be permitted.

How to get thereTo attend the “Guided Tours of the Palace of the Marquis of Alfarràs”, prior booking is required.
BOOKINGS:
Bookings open seven days before the date of the visit.
1) Phone reservations:

Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Once the phone reservation is made, you will receive an email with confirmation instructions.
2) Online reservations:
Fill out the form by selecting the desired date, number of places, and preferred time for the guided tour.
3) Email reservations:
a) Individuals: info@sternalia.com
Please include: full name, phone number, email address, activity, date, menu (if applicable), and number of people.
b) Groups: Private visits for groups are available upon request.

People with disabilities: The site is not accessible for visitors with reduced mobility.
Baby strollers: As the space includes stairways, strollers must be left on the ground floor.

The visit to the Palace of Alfarràs will not be canceled due to weather conditions.
